Canine Extraction Wet Lab
Saturday, April 12 | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CDT | 8 hours of RACE-approved CE credit
This course is designed for veterinarians with limited experience in veterinary dentistry. This course will offer three hours of lecture hours and five hours of wet lab covering the following topics:
- Dental equipment and instruments
- Brief introduction to dental radiographs with focus on normal findings/anatomy
- Surgical extractions of maxillary and mandibular teeth
- Flap design
- Demonstration of nerve blocks
- Brief discussion on complications and removing tooth roots

Feline Extraction Wet Lab

This is an intermediate-level course designed for veterinarians with some experience in feline dentistry and oral surgery. This course will offer three hours of lecture and five hours of wet lab that will cover the following topics:

Dental radiology with emphasis on diagnosis and treatment of tooth resorption

Full quadrant surgical extractions of maxillary and mandibular teeth
